ABOUT US
Biological Science Students Association (BIOSSA) Covenant University chapter was established as a student endorsement in the department of biological sciences in 2008 with the aim of providing an intellectual and social network for undergraduate students interested in the many fields of Biological Sciences. With more than two percent of the Covenant University Student population, the Biological Sciences Students Association (BIOSSA) is composed of Majors in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Applied Biology and Biotechnology.
BIOSSA plays a crucial role in expanding opportunities and enhancing the overall educational and social experiences of its members during their stay on the University Campus. BIOSSA assists in preparing students for a wide range of career decisions by driving activities such as field trips, excursions to world class institutions with cutting-edge technology, organizing of workshops and symposium for its members and creation of platforms to recognize the achievements of Biological Sciences majors. We also work with the campus and Management to increase public awareness of Biological Sciences, which complements our strong degree programs, which is run by a set of indispensable and genuinely competent faculty.
